This little delightful little 4 stars hotel is family run and it was planned with all he character and charm of a antique Portuguese “ Solar”. With a welcoming atmosphere and a personal service, the hotel is built on two floors and has 15 well appointed bedrooms all with terrace or balcony. Each room is equipped with private bathroom (with bathrobe), direct dial telephone, alarm clock, satellite TV and air conditioning. A private safe is available for a small charge.
The public area at the Solar de Mós boasts a very comfortable dining area with bar, fireplace and an adjacent lounge area all air-conditioned. Double doors lead to the sun terrace, swimming pool and the well-maintained gardens.
We include a breakfast buffet, and in the terrace or in our dining room we serve traditional meals.
The hotel is located at 2000 m from the historic centre of Lagos and, in the surroundings we can find the beaches of Porto de Mós (1000 m) and of D. Ana (1500 m). Also, near by (2000 m), you can enjoy a unique landscape of the Atlantic in Ponta da Piedade.
In the area it’s also possible the practice of several sports like golf, tennis, diving, fishing, horse riding and others
Evening meals can be taken in the hotel if required.The menu can be of your choice but we ask you to order in the morning to ensure the best fresh produce.
Each 2nd week we have a Bar B. Que wich may consist of our famous grilled sardines, pork fillet, chiken piri-piri with salads and other specialities.
The Bar B. Que has proved to be a very enjoyable social event with all our clients.
Each room is equiped with private bathroom (with bathrobe) direct dial telephone, alarm clock, cable and satellite TV with 45 channels and air conditioning.
A private safe is avaliable for a small charge.
The breakfast is buffet and in the terrace or in the dinning room we serve Regional meals like the famous Cataplana, shrimps cooked in garlic, Lamb cooked in the oven....
At this entrance hall you have the reception. Here you have your first contact with our staff. Each one of us will do the best to make your self like at home and having a enjoyable holiday.
We share conversations and corners. Nevertheless when you like, there is always a place to relax.
