Flights to the mainland of Portugal for international and domestic travellers are availble to Portugal's North, Central and Southern regions. Although, Lisbon in Central Portugal is the most popular international airport, there are plenty of flights into both Oporto in the North and Faro in the South.

Portugal flights are also available to the Portugal Islands. There are flights to Funchal in Madeira, Ponta Delgada in Azores and Lajes in Terceira.

Travellers can expect check in times as early as 3 hours prior to departures depending on whether you are coming from within schengen space, a "borderless club" within European countries.
