Portugal Map Global View: Portugal's mainland is situated at the western most part of a penicula, the Iberian Penicula! To its North and West lies parts of Spain and To its South, Portugal is within reach of Morroco across the Atlantic ocean. If you want to travel to Morroco from Portugal, a common route is across the Strait of Gibraltar which seperates the Atlantic ocean from the Mediterranean Sea! 

Next, there are the Portugal Islands. There are many to speak of but, the main Islands are the Madeira Islands to the South just off Africa and then the Azore Islands to the west and further off into the Atlantic Ocean.


 


Portugal Map Regions: The mainland of Portugal is made up of 5 regions. From North to South the regions are as follows: Norte, Centro, Lisboa, Alentejo and the Algarve.



 

 

 

 

 

 


  Portugal Map Mainland: Common cities and towns within these regions include Porto (where Portugal began in the 12th century) as well as Sintra, Lisbon, Portimao and Lagos.
